So anyway I have now driven about 2.5 days and I am right now in southwestern Utah in a town called bevear watching the finales of Lost and Alias. This will probably be the last tv I watch for a while in that I am forgoing tv this summer. The only thing I haven't figured out is the numbers. As far as I know that is the only supernatural thing about the show are the numbers. So far we have a bunch child stealing pirates that are the remanants of a slave trading ship called the Black Rock. The island is one big mechanical device with a mechanical monster as its guardian and a hatch that leads very deep. What the numbers have to do with it I don't know.

Anyway this is what I have learned on my trip so far.
1. Trucks are weird. I got an engine light and my mileage went up 3 gpm which I think was caused by hose disconnecting.
2. There is a lot of ranch land in Utah. The problem I don't see many cows on them. In fact the eastern half of Utah is just one big ranch. I feel sorry for the people that had to build the fence.
3.Humans haven't screwed up God's earth in places where humans have no need for it.
4. Laptops are very useful.

More later

Few more observation

5. No matter where you go, you can't avoid the far reacing hands of top 40, country, or CCM radio. But luckily that applied to NPR as well.
